The Marchant Memorial Library has the following resources in the library that might be able to help in your search:

• Scranton School yearbooks
• Scranton cemetary information
• Local historical maps, journals, and other resources

Some Scranton resources and some Iowa resources are in-library use only.

 

We also have the Greene County Historical Archives - there is a link to this great resource on the home page. This includes issues of newspapers from the Greene County area in a searchable database as well as many other resources that have been digitized so that you can access them online! This is a great resource, and something that we are very proud to be able to offer to our patrons!
